(Thanks Warren !)
This version is my stab at it. Suggestions
welcome...
Verse seems to be Am or some derivitive of
it.
Try this for the intro as a reenactment for
the fiddle:
To begin, strum this and hold: 000010
Pull-on and strum to make an Am: 002210
Throughout verses, I use a bastardized pull-off
and picking pattern
and this terrible Am pull-on thing to fit
the beat and
words of the song.
Am
I slept in our room, and I swore? (Last fall?)
And I slept with our ghosts painting the walls
And our happiness hung there like a mistake
or a light
Truly you're gone
Wandering helplessly now we are We are
You You were gone
You You were gone
