Jeanene gave Kevin my numbers in order to make announcements available on-line. I also linked this info to the Blue Sky page at: http://www.orst.edu/Dept/entomology/coopl/tvzindex.html - Len Coop Subject: TVZ BOX SET & TOMATO Date: Fri, 24 Jan 1997 14:52:01 -0800 From: Kevin Eggers / Jordan Trachtenberg The Tomato Company LLC 38 East 57th Street, 14Fl. New York, N Y 10022 1 212 421 8415 Telefax - 1 212 755 7246 During the last several years Townes Van Zandt and I have been working on a major project, a four CD set containing sixty new digital recordings with 47 duets with many of our friends over the years. Prior to Townes' death Townes had completed his vocals and guitar work on these important recordings. It is Townes at the apex of his creative career. It seems ironic that Townes and I would come full circle having first begun our friendship with his first recording for my company Poppy and his last major work for Tomato. We shall shortly announce the release date for the first single from the box set along with the release date of the first album of six tracks that will represent a selection from the sixty track box set which is scheduled for release October 1997. Over the years Townes and I have recorded the following albums together; 1. Townes Van Zandt The First Album 2. Townes Van Zandt Our Mother The Mountain 3. Townes Van Zandt Townes Van Zandt 4.
